Minnesota Republicans propose to include “Trump disorder syndrome” in the list of mental illnesses

A group of Republican lawmakers in Minnesota plans to introduce a bill that would require the state to include “Trump disorder syndrome” in the list of mental illnesses. About this informs Foxnews.
Five Republican lawmakers intend to introduce the bill in the state Senate and refer it to the Health and Human Services Committee. The initiative would add “Trump disorder syndrome” to the state’s definition of mental illness.
The document defines the syndrome as “an acute attack of paranoia in otherwise normal people that is a reaction to the policies and presidency of President Donald J. Trump.” It said symptoms could include a general Trump-induced hysteria that results in an inability to distinguish between legitimate political disagreements and signs of mental pathology in Donald Trump’s behavior.
In the United States, mental illness is defined as a disorder or other problem listed in a list of diagnostic codes. Donald Trump himself and his supporters have used the term “Trump derangement syndrome” to criticize political opponents who they believe are biased or overly focused on Trump and his policies.
