More than 30,000 couples have applied for marriage through the Diya application over the past year and a half

Over a year and a half of the existence of the online marriage application function in the Diya application, more than 30,000 Ukrainian couples have used this service. About this reported Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov.

“Ukrainians have already submitted more than 30,000 applications for marriage through the Diya portal“, he noted.

The minister emphasized that previously the process of submitting an application for marriage was long and complicated, requiring a visit to the DRATS to choose the date, format of the ceremony and pay the state fee.

A year and a half ago, the Diya portal introduced the possibility of applying for marriage online, and this function has already found wide support among Ukrainians.

In addition, Fedorov announced a new function of online marriage through video communication in “Dia”.

“Get ready for something impressive. Now you will be able to spend more time on each other, and not on bureaucracy. Both in grief and in joy – let’s act together”, he wrote.

Diya also reminded how to submit an application:

1. Log in to the “Action” portal.
2. Select Services → Family → Marriage Application.
3. Fill out the application and select the details of the ceremony.
4. Send the application to the partner to fill in the data, pay the administrative fee and sign with an electronic signature.
5. After that, the application will be returned to you for final certification using “Action.Signature” or another CEP.

The DRATS department will process the application within one working day, after which you will receive the result of the examination.
