The Prosecutor General’s Office announced a search for a “criminal authority” from Smila for the beating of a military
Vadym Dolotenko, known as a “criminal authority” from Smila, was officially informed of the suspicion of beating a serviceman. About this informs press service of the Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine.
According to the report, Dolotenko was charged with extortion and hooliganism, provided for in Part 4 of Article 189 and Part 2 of Art. 296 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. Since the suspect is currently hiding from the investigative authorities, he is wanted.
The prosecutor’s office has already sent a request to the court to detain Dolotenko in order to choose a preventive measure in the form of detention. The serviceman who was injured in this conflict is recognized as a victim in criminal proceedings.
The essence of the conflict
On September 3, an incident took place in Smila, Cherkasy region, between military man Anatoly Honcharenko and local criminal Vadim Dolotenko. The cause of the conflict was a road accident involving the parents of a soldier, the culprit of which was Dolotenko. Goncharenko publicly appealed to the network to identify the driver in order to resolve the situation.
After seeing the post, Dolotenko arranged a meeting with the military himself. During this meeting, he threatened Honcharenko and committed physical violence, forcing him to apologize publicly. Read the details of the incident here.
