MP Mykola Stefanchuk receives disability pension confirmed by Khmelnytskyi Oblast MSEC

Mykola Stefanchuk, a member of the Servant of the People party from Khmelnytskyi, who is the younger brother of the Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada, has received a disability confirmed by the Khmelnytskyi Regional Medical and Social Expert Commission (MSEC). This became known to 368.media after analysing the MP’s declaration.
Stefanchuk has been declaring a disability pension since 2019. The diagnosis was confirmed in Khmelnytskyi, where the commission was headed by Tetiana Krupa, known for her controversial decisions. It is worth noting that the future ‘Honoured Lawyer of Ukraine’ graduated from the Khmelnytsky Institute of Regional Administration and Law in 2003 with honours in Law. Three years later, he became an associate professor at the institute, probably with the support of his family.
In his declaration for 2023, Stefanchuk indicated that he earned UAH 800,000 in the Verkhovna Rada. He also received UAH 42,000 in salary at the Research Institute of Intellectual Property and UAH 477,000 at the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. In addition, his pension income totalled UAH 103 thousand.
The couple keeps 65 thousand dollars and 42 thousand euros in cash. The MP declared a large collection of valuable property: a scientific library with three thousand books on law, as well as a collection of coins and banknotes with about two thousand pieces. His wife owns four paintings and a tapestry.
