We will remind you that in March of last year NABU and SAP opened criminal proceedings against the head of the Antimonopoly Committee, Pavlo Kyrylenka, on articles related to illegal enrichment and declaration of unreliable information. The investigation began on March 22, the day after the publication of the material of the journalistic project “Schemes” (Radio Liberty).

The investigation stated that during 2020-2023, the Kyrylenka family purchased real estate and vehicles for an amount exceeding 70 million hryvnias at market value. This property includes a large house and two plots of land near Kyiv, about 200 square meters of office real estate in the capital, two crossovers, three apartments with parking spaces in elite residential complexes of Kyiv, as well as four apartments with parking spaces in Uzhgorod, designed for the wife’s relatives – her parents and grandmother.

The journalists established that the specified relatives do not have a business, and the family’s declared income would not allow for the purchase of such a large amount of valuable property. Despite this, the official’s declarations do not contain information about the real estate and cars that his family actually uses.
