“Naftogaz” named the real market price of gas for the population

He also noted that private consumers are in a sensitive situation, and there is currently a moratorium on price increases. “We will ensure the cost of UAH 7.96 for next winter,” he added.
Chernyshov emphasized that the difference in tariffs limits Naftogaz’s ability to pay dividends and taxes to the state budget, which in turn reduces Ukraine’s ability to implement social or development programs.
“I am a supporter of exclusively market mechanisms, nothing else works in the world. We must protect the vulnerable, but we must not supply energy to the vulnerable at a reduced price.”, – noted Chernyshov.

In April 2024, “Naftogaz of Ukraine” extended the “Fixed” tariff plan for another year, in accordance with the current moratorium on price increases. A cubic meter of gas for the company’s customers will cost UAH 7.96 (including VAT).
Until April 30, 2025, household gas consumers who are clients of Gas Supply Company Naftogaz of Ukraine LLC will pay UAH 7.96 per cubic meter for gas.
