The team of the newly elected US President Donald Trump may hold a meeting with the Ukrainian delegation in early February during the “Ukrainian Week” in Washington. This was announced by the head of the “Servant of the People” faction, Davyd Arahamia ether telethon.
“Active contacts of the delegation from the Ukrainian parliament with Trump’s new team can begin in early February as part of the “Ukrainian Week” that will be held in Washington. Some appointments in Trump’s team have already taken place, some are yet to come. Now we are working on the fact that the relevant meetings have taken place at the inter-parliamentary level and at other levels”, Arahamiya noted.
From February 3 to 8, 2025, the annual Ukrainian Week will be held in Washington, aimed at strengthening cooperation between Ukraine and the United States. The program includes meetings, round tables and forums where representatives of both countries will discuss key aspects of partnership. American senators and congressmen, as well as leading Ukrainian politicians and public figures are expected to participate.
We will remind that in his inaugural speech, Donald Trump did not say a word about the war in Ukraine. However, at a meeting with supporters at the Capital One Arena in Washington, he said that some wars must be stopped.
