Night attack on Kyiv, Khmelnytskyi and Kropyvnytskyi: Russia struck with drones and missiles
On the night of July 20, the Russian army carried out another attack on Ukraine, using drones and missiles. Explosions were heard in a number of regions. In Kyiv, a drone hit a high-rise building and there were casualties. About this informs Mayor of Kyiv Vitaliy Klitschko.
“In the Darnytsky district, as a result of an enemy attack, 5 people were injured, one of them a child. Doctors hospitalized the four injured.” – says the message.
All the victims live in a multi-story residential building, where the blast wave damaged windows from the 6th to the 11th floors in one of the entrances. All relevant services are on site.
On July 28, the sounds of explosions were recorded in the Khmelnytskyi region during an air alert — the region was attacked from the air. About this reported head of Khmelnytskyi OVA Serhii Tyurin. According to him, the area was attacked by aircraft at night.
“There is a crash. Details later. As of this time, no information has been received about damage, injuries or deaths.”Serhii Tyurin noted.
Russian troops launched an attack on the Khmelnytskyi region, in particular on Starokostiantyniv, using kamikaze drones and cruise missiles. Up to two dozen enemy UAVs were spotted around the city — this information was also confirmed by monitoring communities. Explosions rang out in the city and the operation of anti-aircraft defense systems could be heard.
After 4 a.m., cruise missiles launched from Tu-95MS or Tu-160 aircraft entered the airspace of Ukraine, and Russia launched at least six of them. The rockets were again aimed at Starokostantiny, where explosions were again heard.
On the night of July 28, Kropyvnytskyi was attacked by Russian drones.
“Relevant services are working. More information later”, — reported head of the Kirovohrad Regional Military Administration Andrii Raykovych.
The first explosion in the city was recorded at 03:07, after which eight more rang out.
