Norway will allocate more than €200 million for air defense for Ukraine: details

Norway will make a significant contribution to strengthening Ukraine’s air defense, allocating a total of 240 million euros.

“Norway will allocate €240 million to Ukraine’s air defense. Today, Germany confirmed that, together with Norway, Denmark and the Netherlands, it will finance the purchase of the Patriot system so that 100 Patriot missiles can be quickly transferred to Ukraine. Norway’s contribution to this cooperation is €125 million“, – says the message of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Norway.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Norway emphasized the importance of the rapid transfer of these systems to Ukraine to protect against Russian aggression. This step is part of wider international cooperation aimed at strengthening Ukrainian air defense.
In addition, we remind you that Ukraine and Spain recently reached an agreement to strengthen Ukrainian air defense by transferring additional defense systems.
The Netherlands is also actively working on the rapid assembly of the Patriot anti-aircraft missile complex for transfer to the Armed Forces of Ukraine and calls on other countries with similar air defense systems to join this initiative.
