26-year-old blogger and model Ashley St. Clair announced the birth of a son from Elon Musk. This is the 14th of the known descendants of the billionaire. According to St. Clair, Musk offered her $15 million and monthly payments of $100,000 until the child comes of age — in exchange for her silence.

“I don’t want my son to feel like a mystery.” St. Clair explained her refusal to accept the offer.

She demanded that Musk officially acknowledge paternity and communicated with his assistant Jared Birchall. He warned that if the child’s mother chooses the “legal path,” it “always results in a worse outcome for that woman than it would have been otherwise.” Birchall repeatedly conducted similar negotiations. It is he who oversees financial and confidentiality agreements with women who have children from Musk.

St. Clair said Musk calls his children “legion” — a reference to Roman military formations. She also shared that Musk talked about the children even during their first intimate connection, joking about choosing a name.

During the pregnancy, Musk offered to bring in other women, including surrogate mothers, to give birth to more children. In the correspondence, which St. Clair showed the journalist, Musk expresses the desire to “increase the number of children to the level of a legion before the apocalypse.”

Musk also demanded that the birth take place by cesarean section — so that the child would have a “bigger brain” and spoke against circumcision. St. Clair, who practices Judaism, rejected these demands.

Musk considers the decline in the birth rate to be a threat and believes that civilization can disappear without demographic growth. This view is close to the ideology of pronatalism, which is widespread among conservative circles.

Martin Warsavsky, Musk’s friend and the founder of a network of IVF clinics in the United States, noted:

“Without children, there is no future, every problem becomes secondary against the background of the problem of the lack of people on the planet… Elon believes that the country is not geography, the country is people.”

Musk also expressed concern that the birth rate in third world countries is higher than in the US and Europe.
