Nova Poshta decided to make the Czech Republic a base for its planes

Supernova Airlines, which belongs to the Nova group (“New Post”), plans to actively develop its aviation hub in Prague. About this told general director of the company Yaroslav Krasnozhon.

Unlike Poland and Romania, the Czech Republic allowed Nova to use its airport for flights to the US. The company is already waiting for the approval of the route Prague – New York – Prague. According to Krasnozhon, the aviation authority of the Czech Republic demonstrates openness and readiness to cooperate. After the application is confirmed, Supernova Airlines will be able to operate regular flights between the USA and the Czech Republic, and cargo from Ukraine to Prague, or vice versa, will be delivered by trucks.

“The aviation authority of the Czech Republic is favorable to our airline. After the application is confirmed, the Ukrainian airline will be able to operate flights on the specified route, and cargo is already being transported to and from Ukraine by trucks.” – explained the CEO of the company.

Krasnozhon emphasized that the Czech Republic significantly contributes to the implementation of the company’s plans, while Poland and Romania are not yet ready to provide such opportunities.

“We try to work primarily with Ukrainian companies. And only if there is no Ukrainian company, then we look for another one“, he added.

To maintain its aircraft in Prague, Supernova Airlines signed a contract with the Ukrainian organization Air Service. Krasnozhon emphasized that the company tries to work mainly with Ukrainian partners, and in their absence turns to foreign companies.
