“Nova Poshta” warned about fraudulent messages allegedly on her behalf

On December 25, Ukrainians began to receive false messages about alleged debts to “Nova Poshta”. In the company warned that these messages have nothing to do with their activities.

“Nova Poshta” urges citizens to be careful and follow the basic rules of cyber security. In particular, you should check the sender’s address, pay attention to suspicious details in the domain name and do not open emails from unfamiliar sources.

If the user opened such a letter or its attachments, it is necessary to change passwords on accounts, check active sessions and terminate suspicious ones. For additional protection, it is recommended to enable two-factor authentication.

If you receive a suspicious email, the company advises you to move it to spam and delete it to prevent repeat mailings and protect other users. The company assured that the cyber security unit is already working on blocking servers from which fake mailings are made.
