Oleksandr Syrskyi announced new standards for military training

Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Oleksandr Syrskyi stated on updating the standards of basic military training, including plans to increase the duration of military training for combat operations to two months.
“Now we are working on creating conditions so that the preparation for participation in hostilities lasts two months in total. After all, high-quality training means, first of all, the preserved life and health of our soldiers. According to the decisions I made, we already have the first graduates of military personnel who underwent basic general military training (BZVP) for 1.5 months – instead of the former 30-day training. – noted Sirsky.
He emphasized the importance of observing a full 14-day adaptation period for new recruits in military units, although this is not always possible in the conditions of intense combat operations.
“However, in the current conditions of intense hostilities, this requirement is not always met. He emphasized the need to ensure a full 14-day adaptation period for new recruits in the brigades. Commanders must prepare the soldier as much as possible for the challenges of modern warfare in order to keep him in combat.” – said the head.
This statement was made following the results of the annual meeting devoted to the training of military personnel. Syrsky listened to reports on the existing problems and ways to solve them, and also identified key tasks for improving training, including updating the standards of BZVP and conducting training directly at the base of combat brigades.
