Ukraine sent another batch of flour to Syria as part of the “Grain from Ukraine” program

Ukraine sent another batch of humanitarian aid — 3,850 tons of flour — as part of President Volodymyr Zelenskyi’s “Grain from Ukraine” initiative. About this reported Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine Vitaly Koval.

“Another batch of humanitarian aid has arrived in Syria. Together with the UN World Food Program, the flour will be distributed among local bakeries. In total, Ukrainian flour will be enough to feed almost 60,000 people for six months.” Koval noted.

He also reminded that Ukraine had already delivered 500 tons of wheat flour to 33,250 families in Syria.

We will remind that in January 2025, during a meeting between the Minister of Foreign Affairs Andrii Sybiga and the Minister of Agrarian Policy Vitaly Koval, an agreement was reached to coordinate efforts to scale the “Grain from Ukrain” program into the “Food from Ukraine” initiative.
