On the sidelines of the UN General Assembly, Zelenskyi and Biden discussed the Victory Plan, support and restoration of Ukraine

The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyi, met with his American counterpart, Joe Biden, thanking the United States for the comprehensive assistance that “saves the lives of Ukrainians and helps the country maintain its independence.” About this informs Office of the President.
During the meeting held on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly in New York, Zelenskyi told Biden in detail about the current situation in Ukraine, in particular about the state of affairs at the front. The central topic was the implementation of Ukraine’s Victory Plan, which they agreed to discuss in more detail on September 26 during negotiations in Washington.
As part of his visit to New York, President Zelensky also took part in a meeting in the “G7 + Ukraine” format. At this event, which took place on September 25, more than 30 countries and the European Union signed a declaration that defines the directions of the post-war reconstruction of Ukraine.
A significant topic of discussion between Zelenskyi and the head of the European Council, Charles Michel, was the issue of using revenues from the frozen assets of the Russian Federation to support Ukraine.
We will remind that the President of Ukraine arrived in New York on September 22 to take part in activities within the high-level week of the UN General Assembly. On September 23, the Future Summit began at the UN headquarters, at which Volodymyr Zelenskyy delivered a speech, appealing to the world community to further support Ukraine.
In addition, on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly, Zelenskyi held a meeting with the bipartisan delegation of the US Congress. Among other important issues, the Victory Plan was discussed, which is a strategic document aimed at the complete de-occupation of the territories of Ukraine and its economic revival after the end of the war.
An important moment was Zelensky’s speech at the UN Security Council meeting on September 24, where he stated that Kyiv had evidence of Russia’s plans to attack three Ukrainian nuclear power plants. The president did not disclose the details of which nuclear power plants are meant.
As part of the visit, the President of Ukraine also held talks with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz and Italian Prime Minister Giorgio Maloney, with whom he discussed further steps to support Ukraine and joint efforts to counter Russian aggression.
