It became known how many Ukrainians filed complaints against the TCC

In his reports The Verkhovna Rada Commissioner for Human Rights, Dmytro Lubinets, reported a significant increase in the number of complaints from Ukrainian citizens against employees of territorial procurement centers (TCC). According to data released by the ombudsman’s office, 1,634 complaints were received in the first eight months of 2024, triple the number of complaints for the whole of 2023, when 561 complaints were registered.

The sharp increase in complaints in the first half of 2024 attracts special attention. During this period alone, 1,190 appeals were received, which is six times more than in the same period last year. These data indicate growing dissatisfaction among citizens with regard to the work of TCC employees, which requires increased attention from the authorities.

In addition to written appeals, the ombudsman also works actively with oral complaints and regularly meets with families of prisoners of war and missing persons, helping them to resolve issues related to the protection of their rights. According to Lubinets, the number of citizen appeals to his office reaches more than 150 per week, which emphasizes the need to strengthen control and improve the work of the TCC.
