In Kharkiv, a differentiated air alert system is being put into operation. About this informs press service of the Kharkiv City Council.
“Today, February 7, the executive committee of the city council decided to put into operation the local automated system of centralized notification of Kharkiv”, – the message says.
The city council notes that the system has successfully passed all the necessary tests and is ready for use. The differentiated warning system provides that the alarm signal will sound only in the event of a threat directly to Kharkiv, and not to the entire region.
This solution will reduce the number of alarms in the city and create more comfortable conditions for business operations, including shopping centers, banks and other institutions. The new system has multiple power sources, backup communication channels and is equipped with voice messages to help specify the type of threat to the city.
