The operational and strategic group “Khortytsia” denied the report that Russian troops entered the city of Pokrovsk in the Donetsk region. In the statement of OSUV emphasized, that the situation in the Pokrovsky direction remains the most tense on the entire front line.
“Some media and social networks spread information about the presence of the enemy in Pokrovsk. Such information is not true. Fierce battles continue on the approaches to the agglomeration. The defense forces are resisting the enemy’s attempts to realize their numerical advantage and develop the offensive.” – says the message.
The military was reminded that verified and balanced information about the actual situation at the front is constantly updated and submitted through official channels.
“Any emotional interpretation of such information and dissemination of messages, which in one way or another may encourage the enemy to complicate the situation on a certain part of the front, are actions in favor of the enemy.” – emphasized in OSUV “Khortytsia”.
