Pakistan nominates Trump for Nobel Peace Prize

Government of Pakistan put forward the nomination of US President Donald Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize, noting his “decisive diplomatic intervention” in resolving the conflict between India and Pakistan.
“At a time of heightened regional turbulence, President Trump has demonstrated great strategic foresight and outstanding statesmanship through active diplomatic engagement with both Islamabad and New Delhi, resulting in the de-escalation of a rapidly deteriorating situation.” – says the message of the government of Pakistan.
The statement emphasized that Trump’s actions were “a testament to his role as a true peacemaker” and that his “key leadership” played an important role in stabilizing the situation in the Kashmir region.
The government of Pakistan expressed hope that the sincere efforts of the American president will continue to promote regional and global stability, especially against the background of ongoing crises, including the humanitarian tragedy in Gaza and the escalation of the conflict involving Iran.
It will be recalled that on May 10, Donald Trump announced that an agreement had been reached between India and Pakistan on the cessation of hostilities with the participation of the United States as a mediator.
“After a long night of negotiations brokered by the United States, I am pleased to announce that India and Pakistan have agreed to a full and immediate ceasefire.”, — wrote he’s at Truth Social.
