Persons liable for military service who have not updated their data are automatically put on the police wanted list: TCC

Ukrainians conscripted into the military who have not updated their military registration data or do not have proper military registration documents are considered violators of military registration and are wanted by the police. This was announced by Andriy Moroz, acting deputy head of the Ivano-Frankivsk regional TCC and SP, in an interview with “Western Courier”.
Moroz explained that such citizens automatically become violators if they have not updated their military registration data, and they face administrative responsibility.
“These citizens are wanted by the police. Our employees find them every day during alert measures and hand them over to the police.”, – he noted.
Violators also include those who do not have military registration documents or have documents of an unspecified type. According to Moroz, there are quite a lot of such cases, and all of them are handed over to the police for administrative prosecution.
After identifying violators, the TCC updates their data, and if they are to be mobilized, they pass a military medical commission. “If the state of health allows a person to carry out military service and he does not have the right to deferment, a training center and future service unit are immediately determined for him,” Moroz noted.
He also emphasized that the changes to the legislation have greatly simplified the work of the TCC, especially regarding the updating of military registration data. Now the “Oberig” system allows you to have up-to-date information about conscripts, their place of residence, registration and contact data, which facilitates the notification process.
