The Russian Federation attacks Ukraine with Shaheds in the morning: where is the threat of strikes
On the morning of April 15, the Russian military launched attack drones in the direction of Ukraine. An aerial alert has been declared in several areas due to the threat of a drone attack. About this informs press service of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The military was informed about the threat of the enemy using attack UAVs in the regions in the north, east, south and partly in the center of the country.
The Air Force noted the danger of drones for the Poltava and Dnipropetrovsk regions. Before that, the movement of “Shakhed” in the Zaporozhye region in the direction of the northwest was recorded. Earlier, kamikaze drones were spotted in Donetsk and Kharkiv regions. In the Kharkiv region, “Shahedy” moved to the southwest.
“Dnipro – the threat of enemy use of attack UAVs!” – the message says.
The Air Force has updated information on the movement of “Shaheeds”:
- drones are fixed in the north of the Zaporizhzhia region — the course is north-west,
- in the south and north of the Dnipropetrovsk region — a northwesterly course,
- in the southwestern direction of Kharkiv Oblast — a northwesterly course,
- in the east and in the center of the Poltava region, the course is northwest.
“Cherkaschyna – the threat of enemy use of attack UAVs!” – added the military.
Usually Russian troops launch kamikaze drones at night, but this time the attack took place already in the morning. After midnight, Russian reconnaissance drones were spotted several times in the Sumy and Zaporizhzhia regions. The military was informed about the work of air defense in these regions to neutralize the threat.
