Poplar Tris

On January 15, the Verkhovna Rada decided to extend martial law and general mobilization in Ukraine for another 90 days. About this reported People’s Deputy Yaroslav Zheleznyak.
Parliamentarians supported draft laws No. 12404 and No. 12405, initiated by the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi. 315 People’s Deputies voted for the relevant decision.
This is the 14th time that parliament has extended martial law and mobilization. The new period of their validity will start from February 8, 2025 and will last until May 9, 2025. Now the documents are waiting for the signature of the head of state.
We will remind that martial law is introduced in the event of a threat to state independence and territorial integrity of the country. It provides for a temporary restriction of the rights and freedoms of citizens.
