Vouchers for retraining for the unemployed will be converted into electronic format

Training vouchers from the State Employment Service will be fully digitized and available through the Diya portal. About this reported Minister of Economy of Ukraine Yulia Svyridenko.
She explained that the purpose of this decision is to simplify the learning process for veterans, internally displaced persons, people with disabilities and citizens over 45 years of age.
The state offers a voucher worth up to 30,000 hryvnias for acquiring a new specialty or improving qualifications. The service will be available entirely online through Diya, which eliminates the need to visit the offices of the State Employment Service and fill out paper documents.
Svyridenko noted that in 2023, 18,025 vouchers were issued, and 45% of people who completed training found employment in a new specialty.
“Thanks to digitalization, we plan to double both the number of issued vouchers and the number of employed persons in 2025. This will provide even more opportunities for citizens on the labor market.”, – said Svyridenko.
The main advantages of digitizing education vouchers are that citizens will be able to apply online, choose an educational institution from the proposed list and pay for education with an electronic voucher. An automated system will verify the data entered and suggest appropriate training programs.
The most popular professions for which Ukrainians received vouchers in 2024 were:
- nursing (2,951 vouchers);
- psychology (1861);
- preschool education (778);
- medicine (420);
- cook (1516);
- driver (1148);
- tractor driver (542);
- confectioner (380).
