Poroshenko complained that because of the sanctions, “he cannot buy coffee at the gas station”

Former President of Ukraine, People’s Deputy and leader of “European Solidarity” Petro Poroshenko stated, that after the introduction of sanctions, it is not possible even to make everyday purchases, including “buying coffee at a gas station.”
“I would like to avoid the position of “What does this mean for Poroshenko personally?” Poroshenko will survive. Although, of course, there are a number of things that cause trouble. For example, I can’t buy coffee at a gas station, because cards are blocked, accounts are blocked, assets are seized. But the key is not that, but what damage it does to Ukraine. It definitely undermines the image of the state.” – said the ex-president.
The leader of “European Solidarity” believes that the sanctions against him were adopted by Zelensky due to personal animosity and within the framework of “preparation for the elections”, since there are “no legal grounds” for their application.
We will remind that on February 13, Volodymyr Zelenskyy approved the decision of the NSDC to introduce sanctions against businessman Ihor Kolomoiskyi, billionaire Konstantin Zhevago, former co-owner of PrivatBank Hennadiy Bogolyubov, the 5th President of Ukraine, People’s Deputy of “European Solidarity” Petro Poroshenko, and ex-deputy from the banned OPZZ Viktor Medvedchuk.
