President Zelenskyy appointed a commissioner for sanctions policy
Vladyslav Vasyuk holds the position of freelance adviser in the Office of the President of Ukraine.

The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyi, has appointed Vladyslav Vlasyuk as an adviser to the President of Ukraine on sanctions policy. Appropriate decree No. 506/2024 was published on the official website of the Office of the President.
“Appoint Vladyslav Viktorovych Vlasyuk as an adviser to the President of Ukraine on sanctions policy”, – stated in the decree.
What is known about Vladyslav Vlasyuk
Vladyslav Vlasyuk has considerable experience in the field of public administration and law enforcement. In July 2023, he joined the supervisory board of the nationalized bank “Sens Bank” (formerly “Alfa Bank”), which became state property.
Since April 2022, Vlasyuk has been the secretary of the International Working Group on Sanctions Against Russia, known as the Yermak-McFaul Sanctions Group. This group was created under the leadership of the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak and former adviser to the US President Michael McFaul to coordinate the sanctions policy against Russia. Vlasyuk actively participated in meetings of the leadership of the President’s Office with foreign delegations, ensuring international support for sanctions pressure on the Russian Federation.
He is also the first deputy head and first secretary of the interdepartmental Task Force UA group, which is engaged in the search and seizure of assets of persons involved in Russia’s aggression against Ukraine. This group plays a key role in the fight against the financial resources that support the Kremlin’s war machine.
Before his current activity, Vlasyuk worked in various state institutions. Since 2020, he has been a freelance adviser to the Office of the President of Ukraine, working with Andriy Yermak after his appointment as the head of the Office.
Previously, in the period from September 2021 to April 2022, he held the position of adviser at the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine, working with Ministers Roman Leshchenko and Mykola Solsky.
From 2017 to 2019, Vlasyuk held the position of Director General of the Directorate for Human Rights, Access to Justice and Legal Awareness at the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine under Minister Pavlo Petrenko. He also managed the State Registration and Notary Department of the Ministry of Justice, where he headed the so-called anti-raider panel of the Ministry of Justice, which dealt with complaints in the field of state registration.
