Zelenskyy signed a law on sending the Armed Forces of Ukraine to other states

President Volodymyr Zelenskyi signed a law defining certain issues regarding the deployment of units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to other states during martial law. About this it is said on the website of the parliament.
According to the law, during the period of martial law, the formation, military units and units of the Armed Forces may be sent abroad to ensure national security, repel and deter armed aggression, protect the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, as well as exercise the right to self-defense in accordance with Article 51 of the UN Charter.
The document was revised taking into account the President’s proposals, which clarify the decision-making procedure on sending units of the Armed Forces abroad, detail the procedure for their stay outside the country and ensure compliance with the law and international legal norms.
We will remind you that on January 15, the Verkhovna Rada adopted the law “On Amendments to Certain Laws Regarding Certain Issues of Sending Units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to Other States During the Period of Martial Law.”
