PrivatBank has started paying compensation to Holocaust victims

State PrivatBank has begun paying compensation to Holocaust victims within the framework of international programs to support the victims. About this informs bank press office.
The payments are made in cooperation with the Claims Conference, an organization that administers programs to help former concentration camp prisoners and survivors of the German occupation. PrivatBank has been making these payments since 2014 and remains the only agent bank in Ukraine authorized by the government of the Federal Republic of Germany to make compensation payments to victims of Nazism as part of the Claims Conference.
Payments are made through the network of bank branches in a convenient format and without commission for recipients. To receive compensation, a passport must be presented. Only people who meet the conditions of the program – people who were directly affected by the Holocaust – can apply.
“We are proud to be able to contribute and support people who have experienced the tragic events of the past. Our bank strives to provide a transparent, convenient and secure payment process for all recipients.” — said Dmytro Musienko, member of the board of PrivatBank in charge of retail business.
We would like to remind you that from December 27, 2023, the Ministry of Community Development, Territories and Infrastructure began paying compensation under the state program “eRecovery” for Ukrainians whose homes were destroyed by Russian shelling. Owners of housing certificates can use the “Diya” application to reserve funds for the purchase of a house or apartment.
