US President Donald Trump’s special representative for Ukraine, Keith Kellogg, expressed hope for significant progress in resolving the war in Ukraine within the next 100 days. About this informs Fox News.
“I think we have a good, solid plan to move forward and start talking and working on it.” Kellogg said.
According to him, he expects a concrete result in three months, which may consist in reaching a truce or establishing a stable peace. The politician emphasized that this process should be fast, unlike the situation in Afghanistan, where negotiations lasted four years.
“I would like to determine in 100 days where we are: either at the stage of truce or at the stage of lasting peace”, he emphasized.
Kellogg emphasized that ending the war is strategically important not only for Ukraine and Russia, but also for the United States and the whole world.
“Trump knows where to apply pressure. And more importantly, he will create leverage on both Ukrainians and Russians.” Kellogg assured.
