Putin suggested that NATO try to intercept the Oreshnik over Kyiv

Russian President Vladimir Putin stated that the Oreshnik missile is such a modern weapon that it is allegedly impossible to intercept even with the help of the most advanced Western anti-aircraft systems.
During the “Direct Line” he suggested that the West test its effectiveness by deploying air defense systems in Kyiv for an interception attempt.
Putin called it an opportunity for a so-called “high-tech duel” and noted that Russia is ready for such an experiment, but the question is whether the West is ready. According to him, conducting such a test would be “interesting” for the Russian side.
In addition, he repeated his usual theses, trying to justify the war against Ukraine. Putin stated that there are supposedly a significant number of people in Ukraine who support the idea of ”liberation” from the so-called “Nazi regime”.
Putin also spoke about the American THAAD air defense systems, calling them weaker compared to the Russian S-400. He hinted that even if these systems are supplied to Ukraine, Russia will continue to “demonstrate” its technological capabilities.
