Rail service between Mykolaiv and Kherson temporarily suspended due to Russian attacks: Ukrzaliznytsia

Russian troops attacked the railway infrastructure between Mykolaiv and Kherson, which led to the temporary suspension of railway services. About this informs Ukrzaliznytsia A bus transfer was organized to ensure the transportation of passengers heading to Kherson.

In particular, trains running to Kherson will now stop in Mykolaiv, and passengers will be taken by buses to the final point of the route.

All 78 passengers will be delivered to Kherson with maximum possible comfort“, Ukrzaliznytsia assured.

The company also reported that repair crews have already been dispatched to the site of the damage and are working promptly to restore the railway infrastructure. Connections are planned to be restored before the return flight.

This is not the first case of disruption of train traffic due to enemy shelling. On September 30, due to shelling in the Mykolaiv region, the Dolynsk – Mykolaiv section was closed for trains. At that time, the Kyiv — Mykolaiv train ran only to Dolynska station, after which a bus transfer was also organized for passengers.
