President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed an important law on the implementation of European legislation on roaming. This law enables Ukrainians to use mobile communications in EU countries without additional payments for four months, and Europeans – in Ukraine.

The main goal of the law is the gradual integration of Ukraine into the Single Digital Market of the EU. This means that Ukraine is working on obtaining the regime of the internal market with the EU regarding roaming services, by joining the single EU roaming zone, known as “Roaming like at home”. From now on, when traveling to the EU, Ukrainian users can use the communication services included in their home service package at no additional cost.
It is noted that the law is also aimed at harmonizing national legislation with European legislation in the field of electronic communications. This creates favorable conditions for business in this field, ensuring a high level of trust between domestic enterprises and their European partners, who work under a single regulatory framework.
