Ranking of the 10 politicians with the biggest spending on advertising on Facebook
The scandalous former mayor of Irpen Volodymyr Karpluk, who spent more than $5.2 thousand on advertising, took first place in the ranking.

The leaders in terms of spending on political advertising on Facebook for the first half of 2024 were politicians associated with Priirpinia. This is stated in the study of the movement “Honestly”, write “Glavkom”.
Top 3 politicians in terms of advertising spending
Volodymyr Karpluk
The first place in the ranking was taken by the former mayor of Irpen Volodymyr Karpluk, who is currently the chairman of the Investment Council of Irpen and heads the “New Faces” party. He spent more than $5,200 on advertising, mostly encouraging people to follow his Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter (X) pages. Karpluk also actively uses advertising to promote his political ideas and achievements, which attracts wide public attention.
Oleksandr Horobets
People’s deputy from “Servant of the People” Oleksandr Horobets, who represents the 95th majority electoral district, which includes the Kyiv-Svyatoshinsky district and Priirpinia in the Kyiv region, took the second place in terms of expenses. Sparrow spent nearly $2,800 on Facebook advertising, posting mostly news and informational messages. Its advertising activity is aimed at attracting voter support and increasing recognition among the public.
Andriy Kravchuk
The seventh place in the ranking was taken by the first deputy mayor of Irpin Andrii Kravchuk, who spent more than 2 thousand dollars on advertising for six months. He used advertising to congratulate people on the holidays, inform about the activities of the council, its executive committee and news of Irpen. Kravchuk also invited subscribers to his Telegram channel, which helped him communicate with citizens and involve them in discussing local problems.

Other active politicians
Almost 2.2 thousand dollars was spent on advertising by Oleksandr Vilkul, former deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of the V, VI and VIII convocations and former head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration. He promoted posts with reports on the assistance of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as well as greetings on the women’s spring holiday, which helped him to connect with voters and demonstrate his active position.
People’s deputy Larisa Bilozir, who represents the 15th majority electoral district in Vinnytsia region, spent a little more than 2,000 dollars on advertising. Her advertising activity was aimed at highlighting her activities in the parliament and communicating with voters.
Among other politicians who actively spent money on advertising on Facebook was Pavlo Zhebrivskyi, People’s Deputy of the IV, V and VI convocations, as well as Bohdan Kitsak, People’s Deputy from the “Servants of the People” faction, who spent 1.6 thousand dollars on advertising. Kitsak often shared posts about fundraising for kamikaze drones, which increased his popularity among voters.

In total, these three politicians spent more than 10,000 dollars on advertising, while the first five spent 15,500 dollars. The following five politicians spent a total of another 10 thousand dollars on advertising. This shows that politicians actively use social networks to promote their ideas and achieve political goals.
