The Ministry of Digital Affairs is preparing to launch an electronic veteran’s ID card in Diya
A veteran’s ID card will be available in the “Diya” mobile application. You can already join the beta test.

“You no longer need to carry a paper document with you, the certificate will always be at hand – in your smartphone. We are gathering testers to make sure that the interface is clear, and the data from the register is correct and in full”, says the message.
According to the minister, now the Ministry of Digital will launch a beta test and plan to gather testers to make sure that the interface is clear, and the data from the registry is drawn correctly and in full.
“You can test a new document in the application if you have a passport in Diya and a tax payer’s card”, – Fedorov added.
It will be possible to sign up for beta testing:
- participants in hostilities;
- to people with disabilities due to war;
- war participants;
- to the injured participants of the Revolution of Dignity;
- to family members of a deceased war veteran;
- to the family members of the deceased defender and defender of Ukraine.
What should appear in the veteran’s test “e-certificate”:
- name of the certificate;
- surname, first name, patronymic (if available);
- digitized image of the person;
- point and article of the Law of Ukraine on the status of war veterans, guarantees of their social protection, according to which the status was granted;
- the body that issued the certificate;
- series, number, date of issue and expiration of the paper certificate;
- disability group (for persons with disabilities due to war);
- unique electronic identifier.
