Recruitment to the Army of Drones will take place through Diia: Ministry of Digital Transformation
In the “Action” application, a new option has appeared – to join UAV units without the need to visit territorial procurement centers (TCC). The process has become as convenient as possible: an application can be submitted online, after which an interview is held and a contract is signed.
As reported Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov, now everyone can independently choose the unit they want to join, without distribution through the TCC. After signing the contract, the recruit immediately goes to basic military training.
When submitting an application, fitness for service is immediately confirmed, so passing a military medical board (MMB) is not mandatory.
The process of recruiting for the Drone Army through “Diya” resembles a job search: a candidate can select a brigade or unit using filters and submit one or more applications. Various UAV-related careers are available, from drone operator to engineer, after which a contract is signed.
Mykhailo Fedorov noted that drones have become “game changers” on the battlefield, allowing the destruction of expensive enemy equipment with the help of affordable drones. He urged anyone who wants to join the technology war to apply through Diya to personally see the results of their work on the battlefield.
