On the morning of June 19, Russian troops shelled the Nikopol and Samariv districts of the Dnipropetrovsk region. At the same time, air defense forces operated in the region. About this reported Head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration Serhii Lysak.
According to him, the enemy struck the territory of Nikopol region with the help of drones and artillery. The communities of Nikopol, Mirivska and Marganetska were affected. Preliminary reports indicate that five people were injured. As a result of the shelling, a car burned down, a private residential building and infrastructure objects were damaged. The Samariv district was attacked by drones, as a result of which a fire broke out. Air defense forces shot down three enemy drones over the region on the night of June 19.
Later, Serhiy Lysak clarified that an 11-year-old child was among the victims of the morning attack on Nikopol region:
“An 11-year-old boy is among the five injured in the morning attacks on Nikopol region. He is in the hospital, as are three other adults.”
Another victim, a 59-year-old man, is in serious condition. Others hospitalized are in a moderate condition. One of the victims will be treated on an outpatient basis. In addition to the destroyed car and damaged private house, an unused building was also damaged.
