President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi in his evening address reported, that after the launch of the “eSupport” program, new initiatives will be implemented to support the population, which will operate during the next year.
In particular, the head of state drew attention to the launch of the “eSupport” program, within which every Ukrainian can receive 1,000 hryvnias. Only on the first day of submission of applications, more than 1 million people registered to participate in the program. The received funds can be spent on a variety of purposes: the purchase of medicines, books, tickets for railway transport, as well as payment for services or goods.
“Well, of course, the program can actually become a national donation program – if you send this thousand to support volunteers, to our defense”, – emphasized Zelensky.
The President emphasized the importance of government control over the functioning of the “eSupport” program and called on the Cabinet of Ministers to provide concrete plans for other aid programs that will operate both this winter and next year.
In December, Ukrainians can receive the specified thousand hryvnias on a special “National Cashback” card. The financing of these payments is provided by the funds of partners within the framework of existing programs, which have not yet managed to be mastered by the end of the year.
