“Reserve+” will not help: which of the men has the right to go abroad

Now, when crossing the border, the State Border Service will require an additional document from certain categories of citizens – military registration. At the same time, updating credentials on the “Rezerv+” platform is not considered a reason for crossing the border. A paper military ID is required.
Now such a document must be presented when crossing the border by parents with many children, persons declared unfit for military service, etc.
“The requirements for the presence of a military registration document apply to reserved persons. It also refers to those who, according to the conclusions of the VLK, are not suitable for military service, it also applies to men who have three or more dependent children under the age of 18, or those , who is raising a child independently, or those who have a child under 18 and a wife who is in military service, and other categories of persons who belong to the list specified in Article 23 regarding deferment from conscription in accordance with the law “On Amendments to of some legislative acts of Ukraine regarding certain issues of military service, mobilization and military registration,” noted Andriy Demchenko, spokesperson of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.
Despite the new requirements, there is no significant increase in the number of cases of border crossing refusals. On average, the State Border Service turns away 200 men every day.
