Russia’s participation in the second Peace Summit is possible in the format of a “grain agreement”: Dmytro Kuleba

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba stated about the possibility of Russia’s participation in the second Peace Summit in a format similar to the Black Sea Grain Initiative.
He emphasized the successful experience of negotiations under this initiative, noting that discussions between Ukraine, Turkey and the UN led to the signing of important documents, including agreements with Russia through the mediation of Turkey and the UN.
Kuleba also emphasized that Ukraine does not seek direct contacts with Russia, reviewing their crimes against the Ukrainian state and strategic intentions to destroy its sovereignty. “Given all the crimes they commit against our state and want to destroy it, Russia’s strategic goal remains unchanged,” the minister emphasized.
The Global Peace Summit, which took place on June 15-16 in Switzerland, was initiated by Ukraine, but Russia was not invited to participate. Later, the full text of the communique appeared, covering issues of nuclear and food security, the release of prisoners, and the need to include all parties in a dialogue to achieve peace.
Currently, preparations for the second Peace Summit are ongoing, but it is already known about Russia’s plans regarding possible attempts to disrupt the event, as stated by the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Andriy Yermak.
