Ukrainians were explained whether it is possible to issue an e-pension certificate while abroad

Head Office of the Pension Fund of Ukraine in Zakarpattia Oblast explained, whether Ukrainians living abroad can receive an electronic pension certificate without returning to Ukraine.

According to the department, the e-pension certificate is produced based on the pensioner’s application. This application is necessary both for obtaining a traditional paper document and for issuing its digital counterpart.

You can apply in several ways:

• Personally, by contacting any service center of the territorial administration of the Pension Fund of Ukraine.
• Remotely – through a personal account on the web portal of electronic services of the Pension Fund of Ukraine or using the “Pension Fund” mobile application.

The main advantage of the new service is that Ukrainians living abroad can get an e-pension certificate without having to return to Ukraine to issue a paper version of the document.

However, the Pension Fund reminded that only those persons who have already received a pension can issue an e-pension certificate. Therefore, Ukrainian pensioners who left the country can get the necessary digital document without unnecessary bureaucratic procedures and physical presence in Ukraine.
