Russian army strikes Kupyansk: one person killed, others injured

On May 16, a 55-year-old utility worker died in Kupyansk as a result of a Russian FPV drone attack, and four more of her colleagues were injured. About this reported Oleg Synegubov, head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration.

According to his information, the impact occurred around 08:00 in the morning. Three of the injured were hospitalized. The victims are men aged 58, 49, 40 and 53.

“All the victims are employees of the local utility service. Previously, the occupiers hit with an FPV drone. The company’s service car with good equipment was also damaged.” – says the message.

During the past day, four settlements of the Kharkiv region came under enemy fire. An 88-year-old woman was injured as a result of the attack in the village of Maly Burluk, which is part of the Veliko Burluk community.

The enemy used various types of weapons against Kharkiv Oblast, including three unguided aerial missiles and four guided aerial bombs. Civil infrastructure objects were damaged and destroyed as a result of the strikes.

In the Kupyan district, a private house, the premises of the library and the power grid were damaged. In the Izyum district, five private houses and a recreation center were damaged. Another private house was damaged in the Kharkiv district.
