Russian troops again attacked the port infrastructure of the Odesa region, as a result of which six people died and nine others were injured. About this reported Deputy Prime Minister for the Reconstruction of Ukraine Oleksiy Kuleba on October 9.
All victims are citizens of Ukraine, who are currently receiving medical assistance. Kuleba expressed his condolences to the families of the victims and wished the victims a speedy recovery.
During the attack, a civilian ship under the Panamanian flag was also damaged – the container ship “Shui Spirit”. This is the third time in four days that Russia has fired at foreign vessels.
“Ukraine today remains the guarantor of food security. Therefore, it is important to stop the practice of this terror – with a sufficient number of weapons, air defense, diplomacy, sanctions and punishment for every war crime.”, – said Kuleba.
Oleg Kiper, the head of Odesa OVA, clarified that among the injured, four are in serious condition. He also noted that Russia is trying to disrupt the work of the Ukrainian Grain Corridor by attacking civilians and destroying infrastructure.
