Russian military killed 5 Ukrainian prisoners of war in Kursk region

The soldiers of the Russian army killed five captured servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kursk region of the Russian Federation. About this informs the representative of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on human rights, Dmytro Lubinets.
According to the ombudsman, a video showing the execution of unarmed Ukrainian prisoners of war is circulating on social networks.
“The released video shows at least five killed prisoners of war. We once again see the cynical disregard for international humanitarian law on the part of the Russian army”Lubinets noted.
This Russian war crime took place in the village of Kozacha Loknia, Kursk Oblast. According to him, Ukrainian units were blocked and cut off from the main forces in this settlement for a week.
In response to this incident, the Ombudsman sent official letters to the UN and the International Committee of the Red Cross with the aim of recording this war crime.
