SBU exposed incumbent MP Khrystenko in treason

The Security Service of Ukraine together with the Prosecutor General’s Office exposed current People’s Deputy Fedor Khristenko, elected from the banned OPZZH party, in treason. According to the investigation, Khristenko was a high-level agent (resident) of the FSB of the Russian Federation and was responsible for strengthening Russian influence on the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine.
Currently, he has been charged in absentia under several articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, in particular, under Part 2 Art. 28 hours 1, part 2 Art. 111 — high treason committed by a group of persons during martial law, as well as under part 2 Art. 369-2 — abuse of influence.
According to the case file, Khristenko left Ukraine after the start of the full-scale invasion, but continues to influence NABU. The investigation established that he was recruited by the Russian special services during Yanukovych’s time and is in close contact with Yury Ivanyushchenko, an FSB agent who monitors the situation in the so-called “DNR”. Khristenko was also connected with the collaborator Armen Sarkisyan (Armen Horlivskyi), who died in Moscow.
Investigators have reason to believe that Khristenko was performing FSB tasks even during the Revolution of Dignity. In particular, for the “Antimaidan” organization, he involved transport companies controlled by him to transport “aunties”.
At the time of the investigation, Khristenko is in contact with some representatives of the NABU leadership, including Ruslan Magamedrasulov, the head of one of the interregional detective offices, who was already detained by the SBU on suspicion of conducting business with the Russian Federation and contacts with Russian structures. Khristenko knew Magamedrasulov from the time of joint studies at Donetsk University.
Another of his connections is Oleksandr Skomarov, head of one of the NABU detective divisions. The investigation established that during the full-scale invasion in 2022, Skomarov’s wife went abroad in a car belonging to Khristenko’s wife. Skomarov also participated in the competition for the post of the head of the Bureau of Economic Security, and, according to the investigation, the oligarch Ihor Kolomoisky expected that if he won, he would contribute to the closing of the criminal proceedings against him. This is confirmed by Kolomoisky’s correspondence with one of his subordinates.
In addition, NABU detectives subordinate to Skomarov helped businessman Gennady Bogolyubov, Kolomoisky’s partner, escape abroad. Two employees of the Bureau accompanied him during the border crossing, being in a nearby train car, which served as a kind of “insurance”. According to the investigation, it was Khristenko who organized this operation.
In the course of the searches, documents from the NABU’s criminal proceedings materials, in particular regarding covert surveillance, as well as questionnaires of candidates for detectives, were found in the possession of persons close to Khristenko. This testifies to the systematic leakage of official information and the deep influence of the Russian special services on the anti-corruption agency.
The SBU carries out comprehensive measures to identify possible agent penetrations into the NABU structure. Procedural management of the investigation is carried out by the Prosecutor General’s Office.
