‘Servant of the People’ Oleksandr Kunytskyi went on a business trip abroad but did not return

According to media and social media outlets, which cite their own sources, Oleksandr Kunytskyi, a member of parliament from the Servant of the People party who ran in Kharkiv, went on a business trip abroad but did not return.
According to the voting data on the official website of the Verkhovna Rada, the MP has not attended parliamentary sessions recently. For the past month, there has been no news related to his activities in the media, which has caused a wave of speculation and gossip.
The MP is known for his scandalous reputation, and this is not the first time Kunitskiy has been involved in scandals. In 2023, he was in the spotlight after a trip to Israel that was supposed to last five days but stretched over three weeks, including a visit to Florida, USA.
In addition, Kunitskiy was included in the database of the Myrotvorets website for conflicts with the military at checkpoints and provocative statements, including the de facto recognition of the occupation of Crimea. He also confirmed that he had a second citizenship – Israeli.
No less high-profile was the case of the conflict that took place in October 2023, when Kunitskyi, together with former MP Dmytruk, beat a man in Kyiv and, according to the victim, extorted money from him. The investigation was carried out by the State Bureau of Investigation, but Kunitsky has not yet been served with any suspicions, despite the existence of a video of the incident.
Earlier, Skhemy journalists also exposed that companies associated with Kunitsky supplied charging stations to the occupied Crimea and Russia, and he lobbied for the interests of Russian businesses in Ukraine.
In addition, an incident involving Kunitskiy’s mother, who tried to export undeclared currency through Boryspil Airport in 2020, also attracted public attention. The court found her guilty, imposing a small fine, and returned the seized $18,200.
