Shmyhal invited international partners to create two new groups to coordinate the reconstruction of Ukraine
Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal offered to initiate the creation of the Operational Group on Reconstruction and the Advisory Group at the Reconstruction Agency for the coordination and detailing of reconstruction projects of Ukraine. Shmyhal announced this on social networks, noting that the Ukrainian platform of donors has from the very beginning focused on rebuilding the country after the destruction caused by the war.
The goal of the Task Force on Reconstruction will be to create a so-called “single window” that will allow rapid exchange of information on the most important reconstruction needs, projects at the regional level, and priority sectoral initiatives. According to the Prime Minister’s plan, the Deputy Prime Minister for Reconstruction of Ukraine, specialized ministries, special envoys for reconstruction, Platform participants and key international partners will be involved in the work of the group. This will ensure regular meetings and close coordination between all parties.
To increase the effectiveness of project implementation, Shmyhal proposes to create an Advisory Group that will function in Kyiv and assist in the implementation of restoration projects. Her task will be to control the transparent and efficient use of resources to achieve results in the shortest possible time.
The Prime Minister also emphasized the importance of supporting projects at the regional level, emphasizing successful examples of patronage over specific regions.

Considering the scale of the tasks for the restoration of Ukraine, the government is working on the creation of international coalitions. Shmyhal emphasized that effective coordination of such coalitions requires special representatives for recovery. He called the recovery of Ukraine one of the largest projects of the coming years, stressing that it is the systematic and coordinated work of all parties that will be the basis for the successful implementation of these initiatives.
