Teenagers who spied for the FSB were detained in Kharkiv

The Security Service of Ukraine together with the National Police exposed new tactics of the Russian special services, aimed at attracting Ukrainian teenagers to criminal activities under the guise of “quest games”.
In Kharkiv, law enforcement officers detained two agent groups organized by the FSB, which consisted exclusively of children aged 15-16. The teenagers carried out enemy missions involving reconnaissance, strike correction and arson.
Both groups operated separately to disguise their subversive activities. As part of the “quest”, teenagers received geolocation data from the FSB. They had to reach the indicated place, take photos and videos of the objects, and also describe the area. The collected data were transmitted to the curator through anonymous chats.
The Russians used this information to launch airstrikes on Kharkiv. The members of the groups were detained while photographing the objects of the Ukrainian Air Defense Forces, which protect the city.
During the investigation, another task of Russian agents was revealed. It is about the organization of setting fire to transformers that ensured the movement of military echelons to the eastern front.
The organizer of one of the groups was charged under Article 113 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (sabotage committed under martial law). He is in custody and could face life in prison. Law enforcement officers are continuing the investigation to bring to justice all those involved in this criminal network.
