The area of Ukrainian control in the Kursk region decreased by 8%: DeepState

The area of ​​Ukrainian control in the Suzhan district of the Kursk region decreased by 8%. Such data leads the DeepState project.

According to the project, as of April 8, Ukraine maintains control over 57.9 square meters. km of the territory of Suzhan district of Kursk region. For comparison, on April 3, this area was 63.18 square meters. km

At the same time, the area of ​​the so-called “gray zone” – territories with uncertain control, located on both sides of the border between the Kursk and Sumy regions – has increased. Its size increased from 81.18 to 84.77 square meters. km This zone includes the western, northern, and eastern outskirts of the village of Guevo in the Suzhan district, as well as the village of Basivka in the Sumy region.

In addition, Ukrainian forces control 11.35 sq. km near the village of Titkine, Glushkovsky district, Kursk region. In this area, the “gray zone” covers 9.48 square meters. km The area of ​​Sumy Oblast, which is under the control of Russian troops, remains unchanged — 0.69 square meters. km, while settlements were not captured.

The area of ​​the “grey zone” in the Krasnoyaruz district of the Belgorod region of Russia has not changed since the week before last and is 13.08 square meters. km This zone covers the villages of Popivka and partially Demydivka.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as before, does not publish official information about the activities of Ukrainian troops on the territory of the Belgorod region. On the published maps, the gray zone does not extend to this territory.

Also, in the daily summary for the past day, no changes were recorded in the area or contours of the zone under Ukrainian control in the Suzhan district. The message mentions five directions of enemy attacks on the Ukrainian bridgehead in the Kursk region, but does not mention any offensive actions to the west of it, directly on the territory of the Sumy region.
