Businessmen who transferred millions to Okhmatdit insist on a transparent report on the expenditure of funds

The lack of transparent information about the use of charitable funds causes alarm among donors who financially supported the restoration of the hospital after the shelling of the Russian Federation.

Ukrainian businessman, founder and CEO of the MS Capital holding Maksym Shkil, who donated 5 million hryvnias for the restoration of Okhmatdyt Hospital, called for a detailed report on the collected funds and an explanation of the reasons for the delay in the start of repair works.

Donors are concerned about the lack of transparent information on the use of funds provided to rebuild the hospital after the shelling.

One of the key questions that worries donors is whether the funds collected through the UNITED 24 platform are included in the total amount that is in the accounts of the charity fund “Okhmatdit – healthy childhood”.

“Are the funds collected by the UNITED 24 fund included in the total amount that is in the accounts of the charity fund ‘Okhmatdit – healthy childhood’? Please publicly inform how much and by which fund was collected for the restoration of the hospital”, – wrote The school on its Facebook page.

He also noted that due to the urgency of the situation, restoration work should begin the day after the shelling.

“Why hasn’t the reconstruction of Okhmatdit Hospital started yet? Why wasn’t the work started immediately after the shelling, given the urgency of the situation and the legal possibilities? If you are not able to organize the reconstruction process, involve those who have the appropriate expertise and experience – we are ready to help without any profit or markup, because it is about children, and winter is not far off”, – emphasized the School.

He also addressed the Minister of Health Viktor Lyashko, stressing the importance of awareness of responsibility in the process of restoring the hospital.
