The Armed Forces of Ukraine have created the first school for the training of ground drone operators

The Armed Forces of Ukraine opened a school for training operators of unmanned ground robotic systems. This is stated in messages General Staff.
The new school was created on the basis of one of the educational centers. Here, servicemen learn to work with dozens of types of ground drones, including logistical, special and engineering complexes. The General Staff noted that they are now actively working on scaling up the project and improving the training base in order to improve the quality of training.
“We should not wait for the future, but must confidently step towards it. One of the ways of development of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is the search and implementation of innovative solutions in the field of training of BPNK operators”, – stressed Vitaly Dobryanskyi, spokesman for the Department of Innovative Activities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov reported back in March this year that Ukraine has started mass production of robotic ground platforms. These vehicles perform a wide range of tasks: destroy enemy positions, demining and demining territories, evacuate the wounded and deliver ammunition to the front line. In April, the Ukrainian military, with the help of the “Ratel S” kamikaze robot, blew up the bridge near Bakhmut, significantly complicating the logistics of the Russian occupiers.
We will remind you that on May 23, during the United24 summit in Kyiv, the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky announced the launch of a global fundraising for combat robotic platforms. This step emphasized the importance of robotic technologies in modern warfare and their role in strengthening Ukraine’s defense capabilities.
