Five new electronic reports covering various aspects of military service have been added to the “Army+” application. This was reported in the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
As Kateryna Chernogorenko, deputy minister of defense for digitalization, noted, new types of reports will appear in “Army+” every month.
“In this version, we have added, in particular, a certificate of service completion form 5. This is one of the most requested documents for the military to receive state-guaranteed services. For example, it allows the child of a military man to get a priority right to a place in kindergarten“, she commented.
The following new reports are available in version 2.0 “Army+”:
Obtaining a certificate of service form 5. Military personnel and their loved ones can use this document to receive government benefits.
Departure outside the garrison. This report allows the military to leave the garrison during weekends or holidays.
Exemption from duties due to health. In case of deterioration of health or injury, a military member may receive a temporary release from service for treatment.
Receipt of one-time financial assistance after the first contract. This is the right to payment for new contractors who join the Armed Forces for the first time.
Leave after release from captivity. Military personnel who have returned from captivity and wish to continue their service are entitled to additional leave.
In addition, the functionality of reports has become wider. Now the submitted report can be revoked, and the commanders got the opportunity to review the previous approver. For example, the company commander can see that at a previous stage the report has already been approved by the platoon commander, and thus make the final decision on its approval.
